Prof. Philippe van Basshuysen is offering the seminar “Philosophie in Hannover” for the first time this winter semester, focusing on the philosophy of G.W. Leibniz. In addition to intensive study of Leibniz's writings, there will also be optional excursions for students, such as a free visit to the Herrenhäuser Gärten and a presentation of original manuscripts and the calculating machine in the Leibniz Library by Prof. Michael Kempe. We would like to express our special thanks to the state capital of Hanover and the Leibniz Library for making these excursions possible.
