Wicked Cases: Law and Medical Ethics in Practice

The courts regularly have to decide some of the most wicked moral questions of our time: who lives and who dies; when is life subject of legal protections; are there times when it is better not to be born? This course looks at some of the most seminal cases in medical law and investigates the underlying moral issues, and how the courts grappled with them.
